Quick answer
To save a Slack message, open it, tap Share and choose DoSaveIt. We read the message text you share. A link to a Slack message cannot be read. Share the message text, not a link. You then get steps, notes and to-dos you can tick off, with one tap to your calendar or reminders.
Share from Slack to DoSaveIt
Open it
Long-press a message in Slack.
Tap Share
Tap Share.
Choose DoSaveIt
Choose DoSaveIt. The message text is sent.
The exact menus differ a little between app versions. On iPhone, copy the link, open the DoSaveIt web app in your browser and paste it into Add. You can add the web app to your Home Screen.
What DoSaveIt can read
We read the message text you share. A link to a Slack message cannot be read.
If it cannot read the message
Copy the message text and paste it into DoSaveIt, or share a screenshot.
DoSaveIt only reads what a logged-out visitor can see, or what you share to it. It never logs in to Slack for you and never works around a block. See what works where.
